Founding 200 — straight answers
What happens to my $999 if I never use it?
Your $999 is fully refundable on request at any time before the US launch date (Q3 2026). At launch, it converts into year 1 of your Professional tier license — so if you do log in even once that year, you got what you paid for. From launch day forward it becomes non-refundable, but the lifetime 50% discount remains yours forever and is transferable.
What if you raise prices?
The Founding Member rate is locked. From year 2 onward you pay 50% of the launch list price for the Professional tier, every year, for as long as the platform exists. If we ever raise public prices, your rate does not move. We will not "grandfather you in" with weasel-wording — the 50%-off-list-price commitment is in our Terms of Service, section 4.
Can I transfer it?
Yes. The Founding Member membership is transferable on company sale, rebrand, restructure, or any genuine business transition. Just email info@winacontract.com with the new entity details and we will move it across. We do this to protect customers who may exit, get acquired, or restructure — your $999 should not be wasted on a name change.
What if you go out of business?
Founding Member funds are ringfenced — held separately from operating capital — until the US launch date. If we fail to launch or wind down the business before launch, every Founding Member receives a full refund from those ringfenced funds. This is a contractual commitment under our Terms of Service, section 6.
When does the lifetime 50% discount start?
Year 2 onward. Your $999 covers year 1 in full. From the first day of year 2, you pay 50% of the then-current Professional list price, annually, for the lifetime of the platform.
Why $999?
Honest answer: it covers roughly 5 months of platform build for a founding cohort of 200. After that, recurring revenue from year-2 founding members plus standard-tier customers funds the rest. We could have picked $499 and run thin, or $1,999 and slowed adoption — $999 is the price where the math actually closes and you still get an outrageously good deal.
Why a cap of 200?
The founder-time perks — quarterly 1:1s, direct Slack, named roadmap input — do not scale beyond about 200 people without diluting them into nothing. So we cap hard at 200. When the counter hits 200, the offer closes, full stop. No extensions, no "well, maybe a few more."
What is the refund window?
You can request a full refund at any time before the US launch date — defined in our Terms as the first date a paid customer can access the production platform, expected Q3 2026. After launch day, the $999 is non-refundable (it has converted into your year-1 license). The lifetime 50% discount remains yours and is transferable.
