Emergency Order for higher efficiency sterilization filters as part of an urgent multiprong effort to resolve issue of contamination of surgical trays heading to the operating room. A sole source purchase order was awarded to the OEM, Steris Corporation in the amount of $83,797,78 for filters designed to work with the Steris brand system. Sole Source Justification attached.
