The State Department's contracting landscape reflects its core mission: the top five awards total $93.2 million and went almost entirely to security and facility management firms, with G4S Austria JV alone capturing $37.4 million. The 2,384 total opportunities on record show a sprawling pipeline, but only 125 are currently open, and the set-aside universe is thin, concentrated in small business and 8(a) designations that together account for just 109 opportunities.
